Me:)

What about me?! I am your average California girl who has been faced with many challenges, one after another, but continues to come out on top every time. The reason I have been able to overcome such extreme obstacles in my life is because I have always found something that is consistent to help me pull through. Sports and athletics are exciting, triumphant, competitive, and always challenging yet its always consistent and I know what to expect even when I am least expecting it. Like my life, sports and athletes are always faced with challenges, and my goal is to be the bridge to help athletes overcome challenges faced with sports everyday. This is why I decided to enter the health profession and become nationally certified as a personal trainer.

Currently I am specializing in fat loss, hypothyroid disorder, and cancer training.

My passion is to help people grow physically and mentally while enhancing their overall well-being. My excitement for fitness and health has grown from my experiences; being active throughout my childhood, interscholastic competition, and intercollegiate sports at the division I level. My knowledge, skills, and abilities combined with my educational background in kinesiology and athletic training and experience, working with diverse populations, make me qualified to help you with your goals.

Whatever your fitness goals are, I hope that I can help you plan, develop and implement the best fitness strategy that works for you!

My approach to fitness training is to push you as hard as you can, so you can reach your goal. My training style includes mixing up the workouts by making them enjoyable, fun, and creative while maintaining intensity. I always make sure that you are moving in dynamic planes of motion and utilizing multiple joints to accomplish your fitness tasks.

I believe that each person reacts to training styles and nutrition programs differently, so when it comes to programming workouts I take each client individually. My philosophy is simple: what may work for you, may not work for someone else, each person is trained according to their specific body type.

With that said, listening is a skill that I value when working with a diverse population. I feel that it is important to listen to the patients’ or clients'  needs in order to safely develop and implement an exercise program.
